Seven Practices For Manifestation And Using The Law Of Attraction

Seven Practices For Manifestation And Using The Law Of Attraction

1. Your Focus Needs To Be On What You Desire – Not What You Want to Prevent

It’s easy to get stuck on the negative in your life – especially as you are trying to figure out what you want. You want something so that you can prevent the negative from happening. But, consider this, what is it that you want? Do you want to prevent the negative – or do you want to promote the positive? Instead of saying, “I don’t want ‘negative X’ to happen anymore so I want ‘Y’”, I want you to think, “I want more of ‘positive Z’ in my life, so I am going to do ‘Y’.” In other words, when you focus on the positive outcome and what it takes to achieve that positive outcome, then you can problem solve any roadblocks that come your way much more easily.

2. Let Something Else Hold The Worries And Negative Energy For You

Again, people are very easily inclined to focus on the negative because that is a fundamental aspect of human nature. We worry out of fear, and that fear has kept us alive from dangerous situations for millennia. The problem with that baked-in worry is that it prevents us from staying positive. An easy workaround is to let something else do the worrying for you. In other words, put your worries down in a journal, or on the “notes” app on your phone, or put them on a whiteboard. If that object has your worries, it frees up your mental energy to focus on the positive.

3. Don’t Let The Worry Passengers Drive Your Positive Manifestation Bus

I want you to think of yourself as a bus driver in your brain. As the driver, you are carting all of your thoughts and feelings in your brain as passengers. Usually, the negative thoughts are the loudest and most distracting and sometimes they even try to take the bus away from you. But instead of looking back at them to yell in response (and taking your attention away from the road ahead of you), I want you to acknowledge them. I want you to note that they are there, but NEVER take your eyes off the road. Yes, they are loud. Yes, they are annoying. But they are not the driver. You are.

4. Yes, Exercise Really Is – And Ought To Be – Your Best Friend

I know, I know – who has time to go to the gym? Guess what – you’re right! Some people will say, “well, you should make the time!” But, in the real world, we’re all working on what matters most to us at all times. So, no, I don’t have time for the gym or for a major workout program like P90X. BUT, I do have time to go for a walk around the neighborhood while I’m on a phone call. I do have time to go for a small jog along the bike path while I try to center my positive manifestations each morning. Heck, I might even have some time for some light Yoga when I go through my positive affirmations for the day. Exercise doesn’t have to be an intense workout – you just need to move your body.

5. Allow Gratitude To Stand In The Front Of Your World.

Gratitude is the unsung hero of manifestation. While you’re busy figuring out what you want, why you want it, and how you are going to get there, you are going to have little successes each day. Be thankful for all of those little positive outcomes which are bringing you closer to the ultimate goal you are manifesting. Your gratitude promotes more positivity and allows for more positive outcomes in your manifestation. Maybe you could keep a journal, or you could have a giant whiteboard next to your desk. Either way, be thankful for what you have and write it down!

6. Understand Your “Why”: Visualize And Write Down Your Goals

Why are you doing any of this? Seriously, ask yourself why. Is it because you want a more healthy relationship? Do you want the best of the world for your children? Remember – you are not trying to prevent something negative. Instead, the goal is to promote something positive in your life. What is your “why”? Once you have a clear understanding of your why then you can start working towards the goals you have set for your outcomes. Write those goals down and look at them every single day. This needs to become an everyday practice for you. At the very least, you should be looking at these goals when you wake up, and when you go to bed. But, it needs to be even more than that. You need to make the visualization of your success a priority not only in your day but in your daily life.

7. Live The Life That You Want, Not The Life You Currently Have

Do you want a new job? Dress for that job. Are you seeking a new love life? Be open to love and conversations that you aren’t normally having. There are countless other examples, but the point here is that you have to live the life you are aiming towards. If you consistently keep your head in the space that holds you back, you are never going to move beyond your limitations. Surround yourself with people who will uplift you, and do everything you can to manipulate your environment in a manner that best suits your goals. You are the sum of how you spend your time, and the 5 people you spend the most time with. Are they a positive force? Or are they a negative force? Live the life you are manifesting.
