According to Rhonda Byrne, author of The Secret, “Your whole life is a manifestation of the thoughts that go on in your head.’
Yes, it sounds a little overwhelming that you can put anything you want into existence. Especially for those who are very practical in their life goals.
Is it possible to put positive thinking into practice and bring one’s dreams to life if you don’t have a concrete plan of action? What kind of time commitment is it? Can you practice it like a sport?
Manifestation is a crucial part of your success, but it’s not an easy fix. You have to be willing and ready for the work that goes into reaching those goals!
Most importantly, manifestation is a practice that gives you control back over your life. You decide where you want to go, how you want to achieve it, and then you will it into existence.
Manifestation is more than just thinking about something and making it come to life. It’s more than just positive thinking.
Manifestation is a lifestyle.
Everything you want and need in your life must become part of your everyday life. As such, you must consciously see your desires in your emotions, job, thoughts, actions, and core values every single day.
If you start with the idea that manifestation must be a lifestyle, then you can move on to what you intend to manifest.
Here’s a key factor though – You need to know exactly what you want.
You are the only person who knows what you want – whether it’s a new job, a new partner, a better car, or a more healthy lifestyle. Whatever you desire, you have to make your intention as specific as possible.
For example, don’t say, “I want a new car”. Rather, picture the exact car you want. Is it an Audi A7? What color is it? Does it have a gold interior?
The more clear you can be on your intention, the more likely you are to manifest it.
Once you have figured out your intention, now you have to record it.
Maybe you make a video of yourself asking the universe for your specific goals. Maybe you have an opportunity to put it on a large white board in your office. Perhaps you could put in a frame right next to your bed so you wake up and go to bed looking at your dream.
Many people love the concept of creating vision boards to better understand the visual aspect of their desires.
Whatever you can dream of, you need to be very clear on what it is, and then show it to the universe.
If there is one facet of this practice you must understand, it is this: the universe is your partner in manifestation.
The universe is a place where we can all find what’s missing in our lives, but only If you’re willing to do some work.
In other words, maybe you want a raise at your job. Start surrounding yourself with books, videos, and ideas on how to achieve raises. Maybe you find ways to start talking with the person who has a job similar to the one you desire.
You are the sum of what you surround yourself with, and how you work toward your goals.
Be the person you want to be.
Don’t make excuses for the person you are now. If your future self (the one who has achieved your goals) could talk to you – what would they say?
Hopefully your future self would express the gratitude you deserve for setting you on this course of manifesting success! So, let’s begin there. Gratitude is a MAJOR part of how you manifest.
Every goal, whether it is big or small, counts toward you manifesting your dream life.
Be kind to yourself, and others who surround you. More importantly, be thankful for every little goal you have achieved along your journey.
How do you do this? Write notes to yourself for when you wake up in the morning about what you have achieved. Thank yourself in a journal.Use the voice memo app on your phone to declare your gratitude and listen to that every day when you feel low.
Yes, there are going to be days when you feel low. There are going to be days when you will feel like giving up. But STOP. Let that feeling go.
Manifestation requires work, and it requires belief in yourself.
It can be easy to let bad self-talk take your thoughts over if not all is going to plan. Understand what is limiting you and accept them for what they are: limitations.
Your goal is to see those limitations – so maybe write them down, or find a visual representation of what your limiting beliefs mean to you. Then put a big red X right down the middle of them. It’s not that you are saying those beliefs are gone – you are reframing them.
For example, perhaps you are thinking you are not good enough at your job – what represents that? Do you feel like you don’t have enough education? Reverse that limiting belief to say that you have an opportunity to become more educated in what makes you a better person.
Feeling like a better person and reversing limiting beliefs allow for more positive energy.
More positive energy allows for a greater return on a positive outcome.
So, here’s the real question: what brings you joy? Better yet, what lifts your spirits?
Encompass yourself in the positive energy of your life which fills your cup. Be intentional with how you feel. If you want to find your true love, perhaps this is an opportunity to reframe your energy and be more loving to your surroundings?
How can you attract your true love if you are negative?
